Corrigan Electrical was established and grown by local legend Stephen Corrigan (Corrie) over 35 years ago.
Today we have a new leadership team and a new fresh look but we continue to provide the level of service that is known and trusted by the Taranaki community.
Our team of 10 (and growing) share our vision for a business which gives back to the community and prides itself on taking care of your property like it was our own. We do what we say we will, on time and on budget and we love delighting you with our commitment to customer service.
We aim to grow and add value to our trade and to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
We recently invested in upgrading the interior and exterior of our premises, showing our commitment to the community, our customers and to our team.
We specialise in residential, rural, and commercial work. Plus, we are the only locally owned and operated appliance servicing and repair business.

Leadership Team at Corrigan Electrical
Brett Werder is the company’s Managing Director, with Steve still playing an important role in our office as well as supporting and mentoring our team.
Brett is happiest on the tools and heads up our Appliance Servicing arm of the business.
Reece Furness is a Director and our Operations Manager. He takes care of estimating, quoting and scheduling. Reece is an experienced Electrician in all aspects of the role and is also a Registered Electrical Inspector.
Shelton Symes is a Director and our Foreman. He takes care of mentoring and training our team alongside our team of experienced electricians and is responsible for work onsite.
Giving Back to Our Community
We are active members in our community, seeking to do our part to improve and enhance it in whatever way we can.

We were thrilled to be the main electrical contractor for Hawera’s new St John Ambulance Station. We were able to raise almost $14,000 for St John in our Get Brett’s Beard Gone for St John initiative as our contribution to this much-needed, community-led project.
